Merrell Intercept Shoe, An All-Time Favorite

Because Merrell offers such a wide selection in footwear, it’s hard to pinpoint which of them is the best. Each model is specifically crafted to deliver according to its field of specialty. Although virtually every model is built to last and survive tough conditions, the scale of their overall performance would still depend on where and how they are used.
In terms of popularity however, the Merrell Intercept shoe has garnered a lot of votes from consumers, enthusiasts and even critics. This multi-purpose trainer has handsome good looks and possesses a number of practical features that make it ideal to use in a lot of situations.

They are primarily made as walking trainers, with a robust built and all around tough features. Staying true to Merrell’s brand statement “Let’s get outside”, the Intercept shoe alone is enough encouragement to inspire you to talk a walk and enjoy a breath of fresh air.
There are several variations of this model, which all stemmed out from the classic Intercept. The original features a Strobel construction, with a handsome low-cut profile and full-grain leather uppers. Like most Merrell models, the lining of this shoe has been treated with the Aegis solution to keep bacteria and moisture in control.

The Intercept Gore-Tex is a new take on the classic, featuring the much beneficial Gore-Tex fabric that prides itself in providing comfort even in wet conditions. The cutting-edge technology used in this model allows your feet to stay dry and breathe even after a long day of hike.
Both of these models have an aggressive sole lug and Vibram sticky rubber outsoles, which help significantly in improving traction and gets rid of dirt clumps, allowing you to tread with no problem despite slippery or muddy terrain.

The Intercept, among many other Merrell models, does more than expected. Furthermore, they are quite a handsome pair that will measure up even in the urban city streets.
